Precision Wireless ToF Monitoring
The core of the solution is the SP Level laser sensor, utilizing Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology. Unlike ultrasonic alternatives, the laser ignores warehouse noise and dust, delivering pallet level measurements with 1 cm accuracy. The sensor mounts above the storage cell in minutes via magnets or screws, requiring no communication or power cabling.
For "on-the-spot" visual control, the system is complemented by energy-independent e-ink displays. Mounted directly onto the rack's front beam, they show the current stock level in the cell. Thanks to electronic ink technology, these screens—much like the sensors themselves—run for years on a single battery, providing staff with real-time data without the need for handheld terminals.
Digital warehouse twin and shortage forecasting
In SunPeak SmartCloud, distance data is transformed into actionable business metrics. The cloud automatically converts cell fill levels into package counts, weight, or volume for specific SKUs. Dispatchers see a real-time picture of the entire warehouse on a single screen, while detailed change logs for every cell help identify "dead zones" and optimize storage floor space.
The system acts proactively to prevent Out-of-Stock scenarios. When inventory hits a critical threshold, the system instantly notifies the dispatcher and procurement department. This eliminates shipping delays and the errors inevitable with manual inventory on large scales, ensuring every square meter of the warehouse is used rationally.
